LottoItalia, the consortium led by IGT and including Allwyn, will continue to manage Lotto and related games such as 10eLotto and Millionday. With a Decision dated July 16, 2025, the Customs and Monopolies Agency awarded LottoItalia S.r.l. the new nine-year concession (2025-2034) for the automated management of Lotto and other fixed-odds numerical games. The public tender, announced on January 9 and published in the Official Journal of the European Union, saw the participation of two entities: LottoItalia S.r.l. and the consortium of Sisal Italia and Scientific Games International GmbH. Both bids were deemed suitable according to the criteria established by the tender notice, but LottoItalia received the highest score in the commission’s evaluation. ADM verified that all the conditions necessary for the award were met and therefore formally confirmed the award to LottoItalia. The value of the new concession, in prospective terms, is estimated at over €4.3 billion over the entire duration of the contract. IGT, which has managed Lotto for over thirty years, is thus preparing to continue its operations, focusing on operational continuity and technological innovation. The same resolution provides for the payment of fees to the members of the examining committee (excluding ADM managers) and the return of the deposit to the unsuccessful applicant, as per the regulations. The official transition to the new management will take place starting November 29, 2025, the natural expiration of the current concession.
